Are you ready for this week’s double weekly recap!? Yes you read that right! DOUBLE! We will start this week in Hooksett and Tyngsboro. In Hooksett we had two unbelievably close games. In our first game in Hooksett, we have the Red team playing the Black team. With Chad Livingston coming out and scoring the game winning goal. Teammates in post game interviews said he could easily beat Aleksander Barkov in a 1 vs.1 battle. The Red team comes away with the win beating the Black team by a score of 2-1. In our second game of the night we have the Green team playing the Vegas Gold team. The Green team goes up early 2-0. By the time the 3rd period hit, Ben Pierce had something different to say as he gets the game tying goal in the third period with less than 4 minutes left. Showing us why he could be the next Zdeno Chara. Out of Tyngsboro in our first game of the night we have the Green team going against the Light Blue team, with the Green team starting the game halfway through the second up by 3-2 being lead by the Green team’s own Sean Green coming out and playing like Jack Hughes and getting the hat trick. But, just when you think the game has settled the Light Blue team goes on an absolute tear with Scott Manchester leading the charge. His teammates are saying he is the Sebastian Aho of the Tyngsboro league. With a final score of 8-4 with the Light Blue team ending up on top. In our second game of the night we have the Yellow team vs. the Red team. As Yellow’s Howard Bloom gets a goose egg and shows his teammates why he is the Ron Hextall of his generation blanking the Red team by a score of 8-0.

In our second night of the week we will be taking you out to Woburn. In Woburn this past week, we had a matchup of the Green team playing the Black team. As Joe Chiarenza pulls out his inner Alec Martinez when the LA Kings beat the New York Rangers in overtime in Game 6 to take home the Stanley Cup back in 2014. As the Green team ends the tie breaker in the second period making the final score of the game 4-1. In our second game of the night we have the Red team vs. the Vegas Gold team with the main story of the night being Justin Garon in net for the Red team posting the shutout. His playing style reminding us of the legendary goalie Glenn Hall who is also known as Mr. Goalie. With the Red team beating the Vegas Gold team by a score of 6-0.

Our Newton league is up next. This past week in the Upper C division, we have our first game of the night with the Gray team and the Red team playing against each other. The game ends in a 6-6 tie but not before Bryan Colella transforms into Bobby Hull and has a 4 goal game performance. In our second game of the night we have the Yellow team vs. the Green team, with Tyler Joe’s teammates saying he is the Ray Bourque of the Newton league and having a four point game along with a hat trick.

Thursday night not only means Halloween, but it also means more HOCKEY. As the Halloween festivities begin, our first game of the night for our Newton Lower D division puts the Light Blue team against the Black team in an extremely close game. The Light Blue team comes out on top by a score of 3-2, being led by Jason Ciavattone as he dangles through everybody and his teammates have now started to call him Eddie Shore as he has a shot like no other. In our second game of the night we have the Red team playing against the Green team, as Chris Mitchell comes out and shows us why the new league nickname for him is Auston Matthews as he scores four goals and leads the Green team to victory by a score of 6-2. In our second league of the night we take you out to Nashua. Our first game is the Black team vs. the White team, with John Devito leading the charge for the Black team as he scores five goals. It was like watching Wayne Gretzky dominate in his rookie year of the NHL. With a final score of 10-5 with the victory going to the Black team. In our second game of the night we have the Green team vs. the Light Blue team. With Jim Cashins coming out of nowhere and scoring two goals. In post game interviews his teammates told us that he is the next Paul Coffey and that the Boston Bruins might look to take him as a first round draft pick in the NHL next season.

Congratulations to all the players and their teams!
