And we are back for another week of Hockey. As we wrap up week 4 of the regular season. Let’s get started with our Boxboro Tuesday night league. We had our first game with the Black team playing the Vegas Gold team. Finn Gavey and Yowan Yoon go tit for tat in a Brady Tkachuk and Matthew Tkachuk battle, and both earn two points for their teams in a 3-3 tie. In our second game of the evening we have the White team vs. the Red team in another 3-3 tie. In these two games it was like watching the Anaheim Mighty Ducks play the New Jersey Devils when the Ducks played them in the 2003 Stanley Cup finals.

Next, we take you out to our Wednesday night upper C division we take you out to Newton. In our first game of the night Yellow and Green tie in a 6-6 bout. As Jeff Kenney of the Green team transforms into Jamie Benn and scores a total of 4 goals. But just as you think the game is over out of nowhere Tyler Joe becomes your modern day Tyler Seguin and scores the tying goal for the Yellow team with a little over a minute in a half left in the game. In our second game of the night we have the Gray team vs. the Red team. The Red team’s very own Quinn Boulerice seems to put this one away for the Red team early in the second period showing off similar skills to the one and only Phil Esposito. The final score of the game has the Red team winning by a score of 2-1.

Now we take you out to our Thursday night leagues in Newton and Nashua. First, this week we are going to start with Newton, as the Green and Red teams tie each other 3-3 in a scoreless third period for both teams. In our second game of the night Michael Hagerstom gets his third shut out in a row. As most of you know I too am also a goalie. Hey Mike, can you teach me how to play goalie please? It’s like watching Martin Brodeur play his entire career. With all that being said the Black team beats the Light Blue team by a score of 2-0. In our second league of the night we have the Light Blue team vs. the Green team. As Light Blue comes out and has an absolutely dominating first period taking a commanding 5-0 lead. Just when you think the door has been shut the Green team claws their way back with Tim Lemire and Erick Anderson playing like Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky back in the 80’s to bring the game back and almost come out with a tie but loses the game by a score of 6-5. In our second game of the night we have the White vs. the Black team with Yowan Yoon of the Black team and Jeffrey Ladabouche of the White team each getting a hat trick and showing us why they could both be the Patrice Bergeron’s of the mid 2024 as the White team beats the Black team by a score of 9-7.

Now we take you out to our Sunday night leagues in Hooksett and Tyngsboro. In our Hooksett league the first game has the Vegas Gold team against the Green team with Vegas Gold being lead by Kevin Geoffrion in a 4 point game as he is making his case on why he could be the new Mark Stone for The Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas Gold wins the game by a score of 6-2. In our second game of the night we have the Black team vs. the Red team with the Black team winning by a score of 7-3. The Black team being led by Tyler Windt who is making the case on why he could beat Sergei Bobrovsky on a breakaway. Next, we take you out to Tyngsboro as the Red team beats the Yellow team by a score of 5-4. With Mark Cook leading the Red team past the Yellow team with two goals in the third period. In our second game of the night the Green team ties the Light Blue team, With Doug Wilder getting the hat trick and showing why he could take easily take Matt Barzal’s spot on the New York Islanders.

In our last league of the week we have our Monday nights in Woburn. In our first game of the night we have the Vegas Gold team vs. the Red team. With the Red team winning against the Vegas Gold team with Eric Davidson getting two goals, Kevin Moriarty getting two goals, and Brian Doyle getting one goal and two assists. It was like watching the Bruins perfection line from 2018. The final score was 6-1 Red. In our second game of the night we have the Green team playing the Black team, with Andrew Snow of the Black team getting a goal in both the second and the third period leading the black team to a 4-2 victory over the Green team.

Congratulations to all the players and team’s.
