Congratulations to our 2023 Winter Nashua League Champions, Team Red! Team Red finished out their season tallying 19 points, sitting in the second place spot behind Light Blue coming into playoffs. After defeating Green 3-1 to make it to the championship game, Red then moved on to defeat Light Blue 8-7 solidifying their title as Champions.

Red jumped to an early 4-0 lead over Light Blue in the first period. Blue battled back and with 1.4 seconds remaining in the first, they cut Red's lead in half making it 4-2. When regulation ended, the score was 7-7 and the teams headed to a 5 minute overtime. With the score still tied at the end of OT, the teams headed for what turned out to be a very entertaining 6 round shootout before Red could celebrate becoming this seasons champions.
